WORKING LOGO CONCEPTS

Client Logo Requirement: Integrate the hermeneutical spiral
Hi Dave! The following logo concepts are preliminary drafts for thought. They are stepping off points. I've arranged logo concepts into four groups:
GROUP ONE Literal Spiral (Based on your drawing). GROUP TWO - Simple Static Spirals (since flat static images usually make the strongest logo designs). GROUP THREE - Movement (Showing the gesture of spirals/circles), GROUP FOUR - Font-Based Logo Concepts (These were the initial concepts from a few months ago). Don't pay attention to the tag lines in this grouping though. We will come up with compelling and memorable tag lines as the logo evolves. Next Steps: Look these over and select two logos from two of the four concept groups. Then, I will further develop and fine-tune your selections. In the end I will produce a total of three or four developed logos. This second phase also includes nailing down a tag ling because we want to fit it into the logo. With that said, it's always good to have a logo constructed with a tag line, and one without a tag line. Rationale- it keeps a lot of design options open for the future. The introduction of colors that you would like associated with the ITERATA brand will also be nailed down during this second phase of development. So, let's get a timeline in place for the logo to be finalized. See you on WebEx! Let me know when to schedule it. Cheers, KJ ELEMENTS OF LOGO DESIGN (click)

REVISIONS 12/2a
COLORS 12/2
NOTE: Playing around with different color palettes along with various sizes for the “I”. Look at the color combinations and let me know what you are thinking. Also, have you decided on any tagline fonts from the last post? The spacing of elements will be corrected as soon as a logo design is chosen. Cheers! KJ
TAGLINE FONTS 11/29
UPPER CASE- THREE SHADES 11/16a
Dave- We can think about the spacing and positioning of characters later. Giving you some ideas based on your last email. KJ
DAVE- It is premature (on my part) at this point but I wanted to introduce logo and identity colors. When I read all of the ITERATA information that you gave me initially, these are the colors and opacities that came to my mind. Just thought that I would share. Please let me know the colors that are in your vision. KJ
LOWER CASE- THREE SHADES 11/16

DD- ITERATA NOTE: The wind-funnel that we talked about on 11/1 is forthcoming. It is a shape that is a bit difficult to express in the simple-straigntforward manner required for a strong logo design. It may not work but I haven't given up yet! However, while working on this problem, I came up with the shapes above that may be of interest.
EE- ITERATA NOTE: These two logos are a take off from button #5 (below in the GROUP FOUR Font-Based logos from the October drafts). I've appended them as a still frame to so you can have a better look. This font-based logo seemed to be of interest during our web chat.
